| Micheaux's Learning Center was established in 2005 to provide a place for students to receive quality tutorial services and Test Preparation. At Micheaux's Learning Center, we realize that most of our clients have attended classes all day so by the time they reach us we want to provide them with at ease tutoring. We do this by providing them with the most comfortable environment possible. At MLC we do not try to sell our programs to you, we listen to your needs and develop a plan that works for you. More importantly, at Micheaux's Learning Center, we empower the mind through learning. MLC Tutors MLC tutors are elementary, middle, high school teachers, and college professors. Whenever possible students are assigned the same tutor during their matriculation at MLC. Instruction is truly individualized because we develop a curriculum for each individual student. MLC Curriculum MLC uses personalized curriculum programs for each student as well as the curriculum that the student is currently working on in their classrooms. Students are not presented with new material until they have mastered the current material. MLC tutors students in grades K-12, and adults, in Academic Reading, Mathematics, Language Arts, and much more - we also offer tutoring in study and organization skills, as well as Test Prep Courses for the ACT, SAT, PSAT, TCAP, Gateway, GED, and GRE.
